Me Ste-Marie brings to our firm nearly 32 years of experience in family law and child protection. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1988 followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 1991 from Laval University. She completed her professional training at the Bar School in April 1992 and was sworn in as a lawyer in 1993, practicing exclusively in private practice since then. Specializing in divorce, separation, child custody, property division, and child protection, she has appeared before various courts including the Quebec Youth Court, the Superior Court – Family Division, and the Court of Appeal. In 2007, she served as the President of the Bar of Saguenay Lac-St-Jean and has been actively involved in her professional association for many years. Additionally, she completed her training as a family mediator in 2016.
